Impacts of Loss of Rural Land on Water, Wildlife & Agriculture

Friday, April 15, 2016
Omni Hotel
900 Shoreline Drive
Corpus Christi

The loss of large tracts of working land in South Texas has serious implications for landowners and the general public. To help address these issues, The Texas Agricultural Land Trust will host this FREE seminar, for landowners, attorneys, landowner advisers, natural resource professionals, and city or county officials.

This seminar will focus on how the trends in land loss impact water quality and wildlife, and how it directly impacts a landowner’s ability to manage property and pass their cherished family land to future generations. We will also take a look at the public benefits of private land conservation by highlighting successful programs from around the country that help landowners conserve their land while providing sources of municipal drinking water.
